We had a Heritage in Schools Day on Friday 14th October. Martina Butler, a Heritage in Schools Specialist, taught us all about trees and plants, woodland creatures and biodiversity. As part of the day, we visited Derrycassin Woods. Back in the classroom, we did leaf rubbings and made memory sticks using leaves and nuts which we collected in the woods.
